I'm always looking for new things to build, so if you have something in mind please let me know.  If it's something I think I can build for you, I'll draw up a picture and include an estimate and send it to you.  

Some projects I'm thinking of are a kid sized workbench and a cabinet to hold an 18" doll and her "accessories".  That would be the size of a night stand so that it can do double-duty in a child's bedroom.  Again, if either of these things interest you, let me know.  I'll make up a prototype sooner rather than later and you can decide if you want to order from me.

Now, information you may be interested in having:  

If you read my blog, you know that I'm not a master carpenter!  I put these items together using basic joinery, nothing fancy-schmancy.  They are sturdy, usually functional, but sometimes just cute!

All items are made of solid wood.  Species will vary, but are usually pine, poplar, fir or birch.  I may use screws, wood staples and wood glue. 

Most items are made to order and all are unique and will likely vary slightly from pictured item.  

Stains are purchased local home shops like Home Depot, Lowes, or Ace Hardware, and may be oil or water based.  Most painted finishes are done with Rustoleum spray paints. 

I make every effort to smoothly sand all items, "easing" edges so that there is less chance of splinters or injury.  I try to hide all screws and staples.  But, ultimately, the buyer must take full responsibility for safe use of these items.  

Listed price does not include shipping - shipping costs are high because items are bulky.  Therefore, I encourage you to arrange to pick up your item!

I do this for fun, so I won't work with a deadline.  But, I don't do much else in my free time but work in the garage so it usually doesn't take long for me to finish a project!  Because I am often working on large projects, it would be helpful to have a lead time of at least two weeks, but sometimes I have an item ready to go.  If you need something quickly, just ask - I may have it!
